Thomas Eric Duncan died today (Wednesday September 8th) from Ebola. Thomas was 42. He was traveling from Liberia and returned on sep0th and went in to the hospital on Sept. 25th.The hospital tuned him away, and it wasn't until Sept. 30th that they figured out he had Ebola. It's most likely died from receiving treatment too late, doctors say.
I think that the doctors should have kept him in the hospital until they figured out what had. Thomas might still be living if he had gotten treatment earlier. I know that the doctors weren't expecting someone to Ebola the U.S. but they should have been a little more prepared to treat a case it did come to the U.S. I really hope that doctors and officials are doing all that they can to make no one else gets sick, and if another U.S. citizen get sick, hospitals should be prepare/prepared to deal with an Ebola case.
